The Pentalver Group makes every effort to minimize the Company’s impact on the environment, and reduce the consumption use of our precious energy resources. During the construction of our purpose-built facility at Cannock, for example, great care was taken and expert consultation sought regarding the wildlife which occupied the land. A special pond and created for newts, and badger sets were carefully looked after.

The construction of the buildings themselves also incorporated environmentally friendly aspects, such as motion-sensitive lighting, water recycling and special solar-reflective glass.

Our vehicle fleet is gradually being adapted to limit top speed to 52 miles per hour. This small reduction in speed considerably increases the fuel economy of the vehicles, thus using less of the world’s natural resources whilst saving the Company money.

The organization has also adopted a rigorous recycling programe, to include the wide array of consumables encountered in our industry. These include paper, cardboard, metals, timber, ink and toner, oils and lubricants, hydraulic fluid and filters. During 20xx, we purchased our own waste compactor / baler, and constructed special segregated waste units from old shipping containers.

In 2005, Pentalver Transport won the NYK Environmental Haulier of the Year Award.
