1980 - Pentalver Transport Ltd is established in Southampton offering road haulage services to the container industry.

1982 - The Company works closely with the Ministry of Defence to supply of equipment to the troops in the Falkland Islands.

1991 - The Company assists the Ministry of Defence with shipments of supplies to troops in the Persian Gulf.

1994 - Pentalver becomes part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group when it is purchased by The Maersk Company (UK) Limited.

2000 - A 14 acre, purpose-built depot is opened in Felixstowe offering container storage and cargo handling facilities

2002 - Kuehne & Nagel employs Pentalver to develop a container storage facility in the Midlands

2003 - A prototype diesel-electric refrigerated container is demonstrated to the Ministry of Defence, who place an order for 200 units

2005 - The Company also purchases Bowmur Haulage of Cannock. Work commences on a 6 acre expansion of the Felixstowe depot.

2006 - A rail-handling operation begins in Southampton on behalf of EWS Railways.

2007 - A 28 acre, purpose-built facility is completed in Cannock, and Bowmur Haulage is renamed Pentalver Cannock Ltd.

2008 - A 5.5 acre depot is opened in the Port of Tilbury. With EWS, another rail-handling operation opens in the Port of Ipswich.
