The Tilbury depot began operating at the beginning of 2008, and is the largest facility of its type within the Port of Tilbury.

Situated towards the eastern end the Port, the 5.7 acre facility is open Monday through Friday 06:00 to 19:00 and Saturday from 08:00 until midday.

40 reefer plugs are available at Tilbury, and the maximum lifting capacity is 45 tonnes.

Services offered at Tilbury include loaded and empty container storage, container repairs, refrigeration services, cargo handling and road haulage.
