With strategically-placed container terminals across the UK, our highly trained team can offer unbeatable container storage solutions to suit your business’ needs.

Our UK facilities total over 350 acres, much of which is dedicated to the storage of laden and empty containers. With locations at major UK ports such as Felixstowe, Southampton, London Gateway and Liverpool, and inland terminals including Cannock, Manchester, Coatbridge and Cardiff, our nationwide coverage means your containers can be stored at a place convenient for you.

Handling over 1.5 million TEU’s (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Unit) of containers each year, it’s no wonder thousands of customers trust Freightliner and Pentalver with their valuable, hazardous or unusual shipping container storage.

We offer loaded and empty storage for containers, both long and short term. This can dramatically reduce quay rent costs for customers using our UK ports, when loaded containers are still on the quay. We can also arrange to collect the container on the last free day and hold until delivery of the box.

A range of additional services such as fumigation, steam cleaning, liner-bag fitting and Convention for Safe Containers (CSC) plating are also offered and can be standalone or as part of a shipping container storage solution. Our maximum lifting capacity varies by location, however heavier consignments can be handled and stored with prior arrangement.

ETSF Status:

Our terminals at Felixstowe and Southampton have HM Customs ETSF (former ERTS) status, which means that consignments can be moved to these locations whilst under bond awaiting clearance. This can dramatically reduce costs for importers who can benefit from lower storage charges than those offered by the container ports themselves. These facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art CCTV systems and security personnel.
